Mis Sold Endowment Mortgage Disappointment
Mon, 16 Jan 2012
Approximately seven million people are about to receive news in the following few weeks regarding one of their key investments .

They are the ones who have hung on to with-profits endowment policies, in spite of the mis-selling controversy which has surrounded them for the last 15 years.

Later on this month and early next month, the main providers of these plans are expected to announce the amounts of supposed "bonuses", which policyholders are going to have transferred to their plans for 2012.

These long-suffering policyholders are needless to say well aware that the financial outlook for their mortgage endowment policies is not as good as the majority anticipated. Around 70 per cent of financial advisers anticipate 2012's bonus rate to be 2 per cent or even less, according to a recent survey undertaken by Skandia. 2011 saw the annual rate averaging at 1 per cent.

Many financial companies are highly suspicious of these plans as they consider customers should have been sold more financially productive plans.
